Margaritas

Just had to post a pic of Sara and I having a margarita after work on Friday. Thank goodness for great co-workers!!

My Birthday

Last week I celebrated my 37th birthday. It was a long day at work, but then we went out to dinner. We came home to have cake, which as you can see, was a little funny. We didn't have any candles in the house except a number 5 and a number 6. Instead of just putting one on, David decided to make me 56. I hope I do look like this when I am 56.

Weddings

David and I haven't been to a wedding in years....then in September we got invited to go to two of them. They were fancy weddings so I got to go buy a new dress. Needless to say this was easier said than done. I went shopping for 4 hours by myself and tried on tons of dresses, but found nothing. Frustrated, I took Jackie that night, and in about an hour we found one. I even walked right by this dress earlier. When I saw it I loved it.

Anyway, the weddings were so much fun. The brides were beautiful and everything was so perfect. The second wedding was a Jewish wedding. We have never been to one of these before. All I can say is WOW! It was amazing, and just like the movie, My Big Fat Greek Wedding. From the chair lift dance, to the breaking of the glass it was awesome. There were so many parts to the reception that dinner was not served until 10:00 and they didn't even cut the cake until 11:30! By that time, over half the people were gone. The wedding was held at the Westin uptown and we spent the night there. They even had a photo booth at the reception where you could dress up and take pictures. So fun!!

When I renew my vows and have a party someday....we will definitely have a photo booth.

Alex's Challenge Tournament

Last weekend we spent many many many hours at the ballfield. Alex's challenge team had their first tournament of the Fall season. The kids did great. Alex pitched a little and did really well. He even stuck some kids out. The team ended up getting second place in a nail biter championship game.

First Day of School

Here are some first day of school photos for the three of us. We are so cheesy. Seriously though, I have a good class and Lauren and Alex love their teachers. Everyday after school they come in my room so happy from their day.

My Kids....

Need I say more? My kids are so dramatic when they play.
