Tybee Island

We just spent this last week at Tybee Island, GA. We went with David's family and had a great time. The second night we were there had us laughing in the early morning hours. David woke up at 4:00 am to a noise from our bathroom. Then out walks my 4 year old nephew Brayson, naked as can be carrying out our towels. David followed him to his room and asked Brayson what was going on. Brayson told him, "Don't worry, I wet the bed and I am drying it off now." We were laughing so hard we were almost crying. On Tuesday, Alex got stung by a jellyfish. He came out of the water screaming. We rubbed sand on his leg and then my other nephew, Aaron, kindly peed in a bucket and I poured it on Alex's leg. I didn't tell him what it was until he calmed down. I just told him it was medicine. As the week went on, more and more people got stung by jellyfish. Needless to say, I kept the sand company. On Wednesday we went to Savannah to walk around the riverfront. Lauren also wanted to see where they shot the bench scene from Forest Gump. With the heat index of 121 that day, we didn't stay long. It was so hot we were all dripping with sweat. The rest of the week was filled with good times swimming in the pool and daily walks. Lauren can't wait to do it again next year. She has already started looking at beach houses.
