Our Gingerbread House
I was so excited when I bought my first gingerbread house kit the other day. Last night the kids and I finally had a chance to put it together. It is not as easy as it looks. The icing kept dripping down and the candy placement was interesting. My kids enjoyed it, but they said they would not like to do it again next year. Although our house looks nothing like it does on the box, we had a great time together.

Yeah, those kits are like you going to have your first kid...no one tells you the REAL story! The icing is always too runny and it doesn't tell you anywhere on the box that you'll have to stand there and hold the pieces forever until they decide to dry. Nice thoughts though and cute pics!
